Landon apparently needed to soak his feet...

I don't know that I will ever understand, why it is that toilets are so much fun for little kids.

So yesterday morning I was in the kitchen making the boys breakfast and talking to Kelly on the phone. The boys were in their bedroom playing, or so I thought. They were being quiet and of course that usually always means that they're getting into some kind of trouble. So I walked back in the bathroom and this is what I found...

Morgan & Jordan

For all of you who haven't heard, my little sister Morgan is engaged and is getting married this Saturday, December 15th. This is one of their pictures they had taken and it brings me to tears every time I look at it. I have no idea why, to be honest. I just know it does, call me crazy!

Jordan Clyde is the amazing guy who won her heart and we couldn't be happier for them. We've all been super busy in preparing for the wedding, and honestly can't wait for it to be over with... so everyone can just relax and enjoy what's left of the holiday season. Congratulations Morgan! We are so happy that you have found someone as wonderful as you to live the rest of your life with. Jordan is one very lucky guy. Kelly, Landon, Carter and I love you so much!

Family Pictures

We had our family pictures taken on Saturday by Eveline Wunder, "Little Wunders Photography."
The boys were pretty good and I thought we might get a few pictures that were good, but I never expected these though. I am loving all of them! Even the one of Kelly and I.
Eveline is an AMAZING photographer! Thank you so much!
I can not wait to see more!
Once I have the rest of them I will post them so everyone can see them.

So Tired

For some reason, our boys often find it hard to stay awake through dinner. It's more often than normal (if you can define normal) that our boys fall asleep while eating a meal, especially dinner.

Carter fell asleep while we were on vacation in Phoenix at Marty and Emily's. There was even a lot going on in the kitchen. Brynn and Landon were both in their high chairs right next to him and we were all chatting and making noise and Carter had just had it. He slept for at least 30 minutes before he woke up.

Then on the 27th of November (a Tuesday) both Landon and Carter fell asleep eating dinner. It was a normal day, we hadn't done anything exhausting that I can remember... I fixed taco's for dinner and we gave each of the boys one taco cut in half to try. Within 5 - 10 minutes after they'd started eating, they both were sound asleep in their high chairs. It was hilarious. We couldn't resist taking pictures.

What was even more funny about this time, was that after about 15 - 20 minutes of them being asleep they both woke back up and just kept on eating like nothing had ever happened. Kelly and I laughed for the rest of the night about it. It was pretty comical.

Playing In The Snow

The First Snow Storm of 2007

Well... it snowed last weekend, and we thought it would be a lot of fun to let the boys go outside and play in it. My Aunt Erin gave the boys snow suits before they were even born and they finally fit them. So we bundled them up in their suits, gloves and boots and sent them out the door.

Landon LOVED it!!! He couldn't wait to get off the porch. When he did he immediately sat down and started playing in the snow. He couldn't care less that the snow was still falling and hitting him in the face. He got up and ran around every once in a while sitting down to play again.

Carter on the other hand... HATED it! The minute he stepped off the porch and the snow hit him in the face he started to cry. In fact the only time he wasn't crying was when he was on the porch or in our arms. It was really funny. I sat him down in the snow to try and get him to play with Landon, and he just wouldn't have it.

Perhaps next time it snows, we'll wait until after it's done and try again. Heaven knows Landon will love it, and we'll just pray that Carter will too.
