Parade

We met up with the Martin's last Saturday for the parade in Lehi. Julie went early and set out blankets so we had a great front row view of the parade. It was the first parade I've been to where all the ward's entered a float. The floats were super creative and very cute. The boys didn't quite understand that they needed to be quick at picking up candy when it was thrown, and there were a whole bunch of vultures (other kids) around us. So they didn't end up with hardly any candy, which was fine. They didn't really care. They loved playing with Eleanor and the squirt guns John and Julie brought for them. They thought that was great! They of course loved all the motorcycles and fire trucks, and Kelly and I really enjoyed the many bands and marching bands. It was a great parade, very long, but also very fun.
