WE ARE HAVING A. . .

BOY!

Yes, it's another boy. I didn't want to believe the tech when she told us it was a boy, but looking at the screen, there was no denying it. It's definitely a boy! I'll be honest and admit that I have shed a few tears over it, because I really had my hopes up for a girl. Some time has passed, and I have accepted it, and I am excited. Kelly is really excited too, except for the fact, that he knows we'll have to try at least one more time.

As far as the details from the ultrasound go, I am measuring perfectly to my due date (October 3), and he's a healthy little boy. They weren't able to get a look at his heart, so we'll have another ultrasound at my next appointment. At that one, they're going to try and get some 3D pictures of him for us. I am excited about that. Hopefully he'll cooperate and not stay face down on his belly the whole time.

These are some pictures of our little one!

A New Laptop

We finally decided to break down and purchase a laptop. With both Kelly and I using the computer so much, and wanting to play games with each other, we decided that investing in another computer would be a good idea. Not to mention the fact that while traveling, it's always something great to take along.

So after we got our tax return we set out looking for a great deal. We ended up deciding on purchasing a HP and so far we're loving it. My favorite part of the laptop itself is the Light Scribe DVD/CD burner. I haven't used it yet, but as soon as we get all our pictures on the laptop, I'll be burning copies, and using the light scribe to document what they are, so that I'll always have a copy. It may be crazy, but that's what I've been most excited about so far.

Can I just tell you how much I love sitting in my favorite chair and blogging, checking email, doing my YW stuff, etc., etc. It's GREAT!!

We also decided that this would be our anniversary present to each other this year, which is in just a couple of weeks, Happy Anniversary to us! I honestly couldn't have asked for a better gift. Thanks honey!

Carter

So today the boys took a shower, and when I got them out, I first dressed Landon, and let Carter play in his towel.

As I was just finishing getting Landon dressed, Carter stands up from his crouched position from playing with a helicopter on the floor and worriedly said, "Mommy. . . there's something in my bum!"

I laughingly replied, "It's ok, it's just a wedgie."

Carter: "A wedgie?"

Me: "Ya, the towel is just stuck in your bum. It's ok, just pull it out."

Carter: "Ha! Ha! That was funny. Landon you want a wedgie?"

Oh the things they say!
